Group Exercise Directions

Your group will then rank the sites from best to worst and report the results to the class using the Group Exercise Report.

- Get into groups of 4 as directed by your teacher.
- Your teacher will assign your group a number (1-7).
- Group members should decide who is going to evaluate each individual site (each group topic has 4 sites).
- Fill out the Group Exercise Handout form as you read through the website. Make sure to fill out the form completely.
- When all group members are finished evaluating individual sites, you and your group should rank the websites from best to worst using the grades you gave the websites using the Group Exercise Report.
- The group should pick a spokesperson to report the results of the discussion to the class.
- The spokesperson should be able to explain the details reasons why a site was the best or worst one in their list. He or she should use the language from the tutorial ("the site is credible because..., the site was biased...for example...). Refer to the second page of the Group Exercise Handout.
